Hello everybody, it’s Drew, welcome to my recipe page. Today, we’re going to prepare a special dish, chili. One of my favorites. This time, I am going to make it a little bit unique. This will be really delicious.

This is the chili recipe the gang eats at Purdue Boilermaker football games. I always prep and cook the chili the night before and then reheat the next day. This is a combination of many different tomato-based chili recipes. Place the ground beef in a large pot and throw in the garlic.

Chili is one of the most popular of recent trending meals in the world. It is appreciated by millions every day. It is easy, it is fast, it tastes yummy. Chili is something which I have loved my whole life. They’re nice and they look wonderful.

The ingredients needed to make Chili:
  1. Take 2 lb Ground beef (or turkey)
  2. Make ready 1 large Onion
  3. Take 1 large Pepper
  4. Take 1 cup Celery
  5. Get 1 can Corn
  6. Prepare 1 can Kidney beans
  7. Prepare 1 large Can crushed tomatoes
  8. Get 1 large Can tomato sauce
  9. Prepare 8 tbsp Chili powder
  10. Make ready 1 Salt
  11. Make ready 1 Pepper
  12. Prepare 2 can Diced tomatoes

It is so simple and has SO much flavor. Add chili powder, cumin, oregano, paprika, cayenne (if using), and season generously with salt and pepper. Pour in kidney beans and crushed tomatoes and bring chili to a boil. Being in Texas, chili is a staple on the few cold days we have each year.

Instructions to make Chili:
  1. Brown beef, onion, pepper, and celery then drain.
  2. Place all ingredients except kidney beans in a crock pot.
  3. Cook on low for 6-8 then add beans and cook for 15-20 minutes more.
  4. Enjoy! We also cook rice to put with it for those that want it and corn muffins with honey butter. Yummy!!

Pour in kidney beans and crushed tomatoes and bring chili to a boil. Being in Texas, chili is a staple on the few cold days we have each year. This is something I've come up with after years of trying to perfect an easy-to-make and delicious chili. This is a very spicy chili and the perfect meal for a chilly day. The beans are optional here as they traditionally aren't found in Texas chili.
