- Take 1 package McCormicks chili seasoning

Pour oil into the Instant Pot® and select Saute function. Make a hole in the center of the mixture and add chili powder, cumin, and oregano. Place the lid on the instant pot and set to "chili" mode ("manual" can be used too). If you get the burn notice, please see the section below.
Instructions to make Instant Pot Chili:
- Sauté ground beef in oil in the instant pot. Add onions and cook until translucent. Turn off sauté function. Drain excess fat.
- Add seasoning and mix through ground beef mixture along with a cup of water.
- Add in beans, salt and pepper and stir.
- Add rotel, diced tomatoes and tomato sauce on top. Do not mix.
- Secure instant pot lid and make sure the vent is sealed. Set on manual for 10 minutes then let pressure release naturally.
Place the lid on the instant pot and set to "chili" mode ("manual" can be used too). If you get the burn notice, please see the section below. Once it is cooked, serve it up and top with all your favorite toppings. After the cooking time expires, perform a slow and controlled quick release of pressure to prevent liquid from coming out of the valve. Or allow the pot to perform a Natural Pressure Release.
