  11. Prepare 4 tbsp Chili Seasoning Mix (see my recipe)
  12. Take 1 tsp Ground black pepper
  13. Make ready 1 tsp Cayenne pepper

Instructions to make Beer Chili:
  1. Brown ground beef/beef stew meat in a large pot and season with salt, pepper, and chili powder
  2. While browning meat: in another pan heat olive oil (about 2 teaspoons) and add diced green pepper and diced onion. Cook until translucent and then add garlic, cook another 2 minutes. Add to ground beef/beef stew meat pot.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil and then turn down the heat to a simmer or transfer to a crockpot.
  4. The longer it cooks the better it is!!!
  5. Top with shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, and onions. Or whatever is your favorite. ENJOY!!!

So, what beer goes best with chili? As far as beer goes, you can use whatever you want. We happened to have a IPA in our fridge so that's what I used. I think a dark beer like a stout or a brown.
