Season with garlic, parsley, thyme and remaining salt and pepper. In a large casserole, cook beef in oil over medium heat until brown. Dissolve stock cubes in water and pour into pan. Stir in rosemary, parsley and pepper.

Instructions to make Beef Stew:
  1. In large resealable plastic bag, combine beef and flour. Shake well until beef is covered.
  2. In large pan, heat oil. Cook beef until browned on all sides.
  3. Add stock, veggies, seasoning, salt, pepper and wine and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer and cook 10 min.
  4. Add tomato paste and cook 5 min. or until thickened.

Dissolve stock cubes in water and pour into pan. Stir in rosemary, parsley and pepper. For the beef stew, heat the oil and butter in an ovenproof casserole and fry the beef until browned on all sides. A cozy, classic beef stew with tender beef, carrots, mushrooms + potatoes.
