- Once it’s boiling, place the steaks on top on the onions, cover the lid and simmer it for 20mins
- Take out the steak and pour the sauce on top of it then serve
Add onions to pan and Saute. Place a skillet (cast ironw orks great) over medium-high heat. Hamburger Steak is made with simple ingredients that resemble how you would make a hamburger. In this case, it's served with gravy over mashed potatoes. It could be served with a bun if preferred.
